Well, It's Been a Long Time...Time Changes Things!

What's changed?
My hair! Don't you just love it?

I had been meaning to get it cut for over a year but I never made time for it. When I realized I was going to have to start looking for a job, I decided it was time to start taking better care of my appearance.

I love my new hair style so much that I've found myself actually enjoying getting made up for the day. It does take me awhile to blow dry and then straighten my hair but it's so worth it when I'm done.

I have received so many compliments and don't we ALL love when someone actually notices that we cut 8 inches of our hair off?
And the best part of all...

I can actually make it look good all by myself! What a big girl I am!

Now I just need to know one thing...

what product would you recommend for the short flyaways on the top of my head?

Your hair looks cute. You need to use some sort of a pomade. Use a small amount or it makes your hair greasy.

Your hair looks great! You also look younger. (Off topic, you really have nice teeth.) It's always nice when you can recreate the hair. And yes, a tiny amount of pomade.

I love your new do! Frizz Ease makes a product called Secret Weapon and you use just a little for that exact purpose!

All of the previous recommendations are good. If you end up having more frizziness throughout the day (humidity and such), you could try mousse (sp?) (when wet) and style. That should help overall. :)

I responded to your book suggestion in the comments because I can never seem to get to email when I am thinking about replying. Did you see it? Ria's already read the MTH series. She loved it and sort of compares her enjoyment of other books to it. :)

I really like your hair, Heidi! I love it long, of course, but it's awesome to hear that your enjoying taking time on yourself. That's often SUCH a difficult thing to do!

I didn't hear about the job hunt. Do call me!

Good luck on the reconstruction of the blog. I'm excited to see the results! I'm thinking about trying to figure this HTML thing out. If you have any pointers, let me know. :)

Love YOU!

You look beautiful! I love it!! I use pomade as well...cheap brands are fine. Use about a pea size for your trouble spots. I rub it on my hands like lotion before touching my hair or you could end up with a greasy clump. I also like to use it on the ends of my hair after straightening. It gives it a polished, finished look. I also use a little on the swag also none as bangs. Beautiful!

You look great! Isn't it funny how something so small as changing your hair can make you feel so much better? I'm "reinventing" myself as well, but through wardrobe. Trying to get away from t-shirts and look more like a mom. Good luck on the job hunt- let us know!

I already complimented that your new do before but that's ok, I LOVE IT! You do look younger and very professional. What kind of job are you looking for? And again, pomade, as if this is news in any way. I add my testament to it though.

Also, the family resemblance with Sarah is very easy to see with the hair and glasses.
